View Full Version : SAVING A DVD TO MY HARDDRIVE....

I have COPY PRO and i was wondering how ...if possible... i could save a copy of a DVD on my harddrive so i can download it to one of my laptops or portable harddrives. id like to have a library to carry with me to work. is this possible?

Sure! There are two ways... You can simply disable the option for "Delete Temporary Files" and the copy will remain on your hard drive until you delete it. (It will be located in your working folder)

-or-

You can change your destination to a folder on your hard drive.

I use the first option because it allows me to burn a DVD AND to keep a copy on the hard drive. If you don't want to actually burn a disc, just cancel the operation when it prompts for a blank DVD.

One thing to consider, how big is your HD? It takes at least 4.3 Gb to store one movie (compressed). If you have ample storage, Ga's answer is perfect. If you're like me, using an old smaller Presario (nobody laugh, please) :o your available space may be a consideration.:rolleyes:
