It appears that your Old Burner has NO Firmware Support whatsoever
- for the Media that you are trying to burn

Your Optical drives are beyond antique
Your Burner's time has passed .... and then some
You should have it 'bronzed'
I'm kinda surprised it still works at all

ok, Bought the new burner, now I'm getting this msg. I'm using Verbatim dvd+r 16x disks. Had it set a max speed, but lowered it to 12x..see next post.

With this program I would start off burning at 8x. Aso check & see if there`s an up date for this burner. Last thing that I would do is down load & reinstall over the copy you have.

It is better - to actually find and remove them with offending program

I wouldn't spend too much time on this ...
We can simply delete the Filters

If Unable to locate and Remove these Filter by removing the installing programs
I would first Back-up your Registry (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756)

Open IMGBurn
Go to > Tools > Filter Driver Load Order

Click on the filter listing for = Filter Name: Cdralw2k
- To Select
>> Press = Remove Selected Filter
> Press = OK

Click on the filter listing for = Filter Name: Cdr4_xp - To Select
>> Press = Remove Selected Filter
> Press = OK

Click on the filter listing for = Filter Name: PxHelp20 - To Select
>> Press = Remove Selected Filter
> Press = OK



After this Filter Removal
The Program(s) using these Filters will no longer work properly
.... which should be No Great loss , I assure you

I did what you suggested

1. Deleted those filters.
2. Ran 1click movie and it couldn't find the dvd, but reloaded the dvd and it showed up.
3. Reloaded 1 click dvd.
4. Burned a movie and it worked. I think it burned at 22X....Thanks.
