I sent an email to support to have my license transfered since I got my new computer today. I was just wondering how long it will take. I am in the process of transferring files to an external hard drive. It pisses me off that its not NTFS. FAT32 sucks since there is a 4GB file limit

DVD43 plugin. No executable after setup

As my new (January 2010) computer came with Win 7 64-bit, attempting to open DVD43 results in a popup telling me that it is imcompatible. I downloaded DVD43_Plugin_Setup_1.0.0.5.exe, and ran it. The only result that I can discover is four new files: DVD43 Plugin APT.txt, History.txt, unins000.dat, and unins000.exe. I am no expert about plugins, but as far as I can see, the only executable is the uninstall app!

Searching via Google and the LG forum has not revealed to me a solution to the 64-bit problem, except to suggest buying what for me is a very pricey ANYDVD at maybe $80. As in the past, I have made only maybe three or four backup copies of DVDs in a year, this is not reasonable for my situation.

I have paid to renew my LG 1-Click app, but have not installed it on my new computer nor my old computer, because I can still use my old very slow WinXP 32-bit machine with version 4.1.9.1, and am concerned that if I try to install the latest version and run it on both machines, I will bump into a licensing issue, which I want to avoid completely.

I really want to begin to use my new fast computer to make the very few backups a year, but I need a free or very very cheap solution to the 64-bit problem. Given that I find no executable associated with running DVD43_Plugin, please tell me what I obviously need to know, or an explicit reference to a complete solution.

A recently made copy of Green Zone has no English subtitles for the Arabic dialogue which is a major part of the film.

If I enable English subtitles via the DVD remote the whole movie has subtitles which I don't need.

Should I be selecting All Languages in the Options Menu?
All replies welcome.

I've just moved into a new flat that has unreliable broadband. Each time I try to use 1click I'm told it can't connect to the internet to register (I've been a 1click registered user for 5 years). Then, it prompts me to try and register offline, that doesn't work, so I'm left with a program that closes immediately.

Can anyone help? Why does the program need to be online to work?

Kind Regards and thanks for your time, Karen
