Default Format for Xbox360

The only post I see regarding Xbox is about 1 year old, so I was hoping things had chanced since then. I am hoping to convert my DVDs to a format that the Xbox can see. It can see mpeg4 but I would like to use the Windows Media Center infterface instead of the shared folder option or the Zune software option. So does dvdconverter have an xbox compatible file option besides mpeg4 and if only mpeg4 is an option is it in 5.1 channels or will it only convert to 2.1? Thanks

1Click Converter is for converting file fomats for the XBox, its for conveting movies for use in small screen portable devices.

Just join the DVD's .vob files together and rename the resulting .vob file to <name of movie.mpg> or <name of movie.mpeg>. Media Center will play it. There are several free programs to join the .vob files, like DVD Shrink.

Your PC or XBox should downconvert the audio, if needed.
