I upgrade computers and operating systems often.
I found no way to release the key so I can reinstall without having to beg to get my key released. I have tried windows uninstall, the uninstall utility that gets installed with 1clickdvdpro and nether of them seem to de-register my key. Then I email, as you have no published phone number, and a support staff wants to tell me that his system shows I installed 1click on this date and that date so I have to buy another license to use it on more than one computer. So I assume my email did not get read and some computer automates a response. My email clearly states that I upgraded to win7 and it did not work so I uninstalled it and put it on my laptop. I mean, seriously, how many people want to have more than one copy installed. I am willing to bet that you can see that the same IP address is used so why force me to send multiple emails and post in your forum and basically have to fight for what is mine. I have paid for 1click many times so I can keep getting the upgrades and I don't like being treated like a cheater when I am in fact a loyal customer and hope to be for some time. PLEASE FIX YOUR REGISTRATION SYSTEM SO YOUR CLIENTS DONT GET TREATED POORLY AS THE NORM. ON UNINSTALL RETURN THE KEY. VERY SIMPLE AND YOUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE IT. |

As with many other internet based programs, the software is registered to a single computer... the computer it was installed on. This is an anti-piracy measure.
I don't necessarily like the system, but I've transferred the license to several different computers over the years and have never been treated badly by tech support. I've always gotten an email notifying me of the action and was told to "enjoy!" It even came from a person with their named attached. 1Click works on Windows 7 without any problems, whatsoever. I've use both 32-bit and 64-bit versions since the early beta stages and it still works fine on the final versions. It strikes me as odd that you would have had 1Click for years and never posted here on the forum. If you had, you would have known that this is a user-driven forum and we don't deal with registration issues. You need to voice your complaints to support@lgsoftwareinnovations.com.

I am frustrated about being dismissed regarding a valid issue.
I want what I paid for. Is that unreasonable? Thanks for your reply and letting me know you transferred your license to several different computers over the years and have never been treated badly by tech support even thought it can only be installed on one computer. Thats all I asked for and still find myself emailing support@lgsoftwareinnovations.com and posting here. I understand why anti piracy measures are needed. I hope you understand how I should be able to have the paid software installed on one computer with out being called a cheat or posting in forum and emailing. I am glad you have had great experiences with support...I think I should get great support also. I am glad it works on your windows7 system....it does not work on mine and I should still be able to use what I paid for on my other computer. Thanks for letting me know that this is a user supported forum..but I found this link on the official web page and did not find any other forum to use so I used what was made available. I assumed that a forum posted on the official website would be a reasonable place to post my issues as the email option was not getting me what I paid for. It is odd to me that you find it odd that I never posted here before. Do you find that most owners of 1clickdvd have posted here? Thanks for sticking up for 1clickdvd, dismissing my issues as made up and basically telling me to send another email to support@lgsoftwareinnovations.com |
